Who operates Scorch
ScorchPvP is operated by SCORCHPVP LLC, based in Ohio, United States. These Terms cover scorchpvp.com, the ScorchPvP Minecraft server, and our optional Scorch Launcher and Client. Contact [email protected] for service, account or policy questions.
ScorchPvP is an independent service, not an official Minecraft service, and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Microsoft, Minecraft and other third-party services have their own terms.
Agreement and eligibility
When you create a website account, the registration form asks you to accept these Terms. Participation in our server and community is subject to the Server Rules. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled; accepting these Terms is not blanket consent to every form of data processing.
Use accounts you are authorized to use and meet the eligibility requirements of the services involved. If you are below the age of legal adulthood where you live, involve your parent or legal guardian and obtain any agreement or permission required by applicable law. A child's privacy rights and any legally required parental-consent process are not waived by this paragraph.
You must meet Discord's age requirements and terms before joining our Discord. Discord membership and the Scorch Launcher are optional. Support and appeals are also available by email.
Free access and gameplay
Access to ScorchPvP is free. Players need their own legitimate Minecraft access and a compatible setup. The optional Scorch Launcher helps install and run the supported client; players may also use another supported client that follows our rules.
Ranks, chests, boss eggs and other progression are available through intended gameplay systems and free events. Availability depends on the current season, event and server configuration. Advertised plans or previews are not a guarantee that an unfinished feature is already available.
You must follow the published Server Rules. Autoclickers and gameplay macros are banned. Scamming is prohibited. Faction insiding is allowed only within the rule's stated scope and effective date; this does not permit account theft, exploitation or transaction fraud.
Accounts and security
Keep your account information accurate and secure. Do not disclose passwords, recovery codes or authentication tokens to other players or staff. Enable available security protections, and report suspected compromise promptly.
Do not impersonate others, bypass an account restriction, access another person's account without authorization, or sell accounts through Scorch. We may temporarily restrict an account where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected compromise or protect the service.
Account activity may be reviewed in context. Sharing a household or IP address alone does not establish misconduct. Reports and appeals are handled through the process in the Server Rules.
Launcher software and updates
The Scorch Launcher and Client are provided for use with supported Minecraft versions and Scorch services, subject to these Terms and applicable third-party licenses. Download them through official Scorch links. Do not repackage them deceptively, add malicious code or represent an unofficial build as ours.
The launcher may require a supported update before starting a new game session. Updates, system compatibility, provider outages or authentication problems may temporarily prevent launch. Early-access builds may contain bugs; use the current release notes and support information when assessing a build.
Microsoft sign-in takes place through Microsoft's authorization service. Scorch staff do not need your Microsoft password. Game ownership, Microsoft account access and third-party services remain governed by their providers.
Virtual items resets and availability
In-game balances, ranks and items are game features, not cash, bank deposits, investments or a right to money from Scorch. Do not trade them for real money, cryptocurrency, gift cards or benefits on another server, and do not operate wagering or cash-out schemes.
Normal gameplay, raids and permitted faction betrayal can cause losses. We do not promise recovery for ordinary gameplay losses. Exploit corrections, moderation, balance changes, technical failures and announced season resets can affect progress and items.
We aim to keep Scorch available, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, a particular player count, permanent preservation of every world or item, or compatibility with every device. We will give reasonable notice of planned material changes where practical. Nothing here excludes a remedy or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Payments and Forge
Real-money payments and Forge contributions are currently unavailable. Staff are not authorized to collect private payments for ranks, items, unbans or preferential treatment.
A future Forge campaign would require published terms before payment opens, including its goal, rewards, delivery, offline claims, and what happens if the goal is missed or cancelled. Shared gameplay rewards will not depend on paying or increase because someone paid. A campaign announcement does not itself open payments.
No payment should be described as a tax-deductible charitable donation without a valid basis. These Terms do not promise tax deductibility.
Nothing in these policies removes the right to report an unauthorized charge, raise a good-faith payment dispute or receive a remedy required by law. Deliberate payment fraud can be investigated separately. A dispute or refund request alone is not grounds for punishment.
Your content and others' rights
Only upload or share content you are entitled to share. Do not post infringing material, malware, private personal information or content prohibited by the Server Rules.
You retain rights you have in your original content. By submitting it to a Scorch feature, you permit us to store, display, transmit, moderate and make technical copies as needed to operate that feature and handle reports. This permission does not transfer ownership to us or give us blanket permission to use your private communications or likeness in advertising.
Publicly displayed posts, builds and gameplay may be viewed or recorded by other players. Follow the recording and privacy rules, and obtain any legally required consent. Contact support about copyright, privacy or other rights concerns.
Scorch branding and original materials remain subject to their owners' rights. Third-party software, music, art and other materials retain their applicable licenses. Nothing here overrides permissions a separate license grants you.
Moderation and ending access
We may remove prohibited content, reverse illegitimate gains, restrict features or suspend accounts for rule violations, security concerns or legal requirements. The response should reflect the evidence and severity; serious threats or exploitation may require immediate action.
The Server Rules explain reports, moderation and appeals. Honest criticism, good-faith reports and lawful consumer complaints are allowed. We do not require a blanket waiver of reviews or access to unrelated personal files.
You may stop using Scorch at any time. Contact support to request account deletion. Deletion and retention are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable law, including necessary security, dispute, legal and backup limitations.
Questions disputes and changes
Contact [email protected] with a service problem so we can investigate. This does not prevent you from using statutory remedies, contacting a regulator or seeking independent advice.
We may update these Terms as services change. We will date the published version and provide reasonable notice of material changes where practical, obtaining agreement or consent where required by law. A policy update does not by itself authorize incompatible new uses of previously collected data.
If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, applicable law governs that issue; the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted. Nothing here restricts non-waivable consumer or privacy rights.
